Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez denied his team are suffering from a crisis of confidence after their latest defeat.
The Magpies have won just one out of their last nine fixtures, a worrying run that has seen Benitez’s side plummet down the Premier League table.
However, when asked whether his players are struggling for confidence, the visibly frustrated Newcastle manager responded: ‘No, it’s a problem with the level of the Premier League.
‘I’m not concerned about the poor run, I’m just concerned with improving the players.
