Newcastle 3-0 Southampton: Kenedy stars in thrashing as he bags a brace to seal crucial win over relegation rivals for Rafael Benitez's men

Kenedy showed Chelsea what they're missing on Saturday as his two goals sent Newcastle on their way to a crucial thrashing of relegation rivals Southampton.

Victory was the only option in the eyes of Rafael Benitez, whose side sat just one point clear of Southampton ahead of kick off, but he knew three points would lift his side up to 13th.

Kenedy stole the show at St James' Park, announcing himself to the Newcastle faithful inside just two minutes, before later adding a second.
