Newcastle were held at home by West Ham as the sides played out a 1-1 draw on Saturday evening.
Joe Willock thought he had scored after just 35 seconds but the goal was ruled out after the ball went off the pitch.
However, Callum Wilson scored within 11 seconds of the restart and after three minutes of the game to cap off a brilliant start.
West Ham improved massively though and got a deserved equaliser when Lucas Paqueta fired home from a corner.
It was an intense second half but both sides held firm and the points were shared.
