Net spending of Premier League club in the January transfer window

The Premier League transfer window has closed once again and now it's time to count up who has spent what.

Deals were done on a riveting deadline day, including Olivier Giroud's £18million move from Arsenal to London rivals Chelsea to make it an exciting mid-season window.

In total, all 20 clubs made up a total spend of £419.5million, with total sales of £271.8million, making a net spend of £147.6million.

Some clubs broke the bank to try and recruit new players as we enter the business end of the 2017/18 season, while others made a pretty penny through offloading some of their best players.
