Blaise Matuidi had his eye on a move to Juventus during Euro 2016 according to France team-mate Moussa Sissoko.
The midfielder admitted a move to Serie A champions was the one he had his heart set on, but Paris Saint Germain blocked the move.
Having sought a move away from Championship side Newcastle, eventually signing for Tottenham for £30m on deadline day, Sissoko said both he and Matuidi were a source of support for each other in the summer.
