Miguel Almiron is only still a Newcastle player because of the coronavirus pandemic, according to his agent.
The attacking midfielder is said to be frustrated at his playing time and the style of football under boss Steve Bruce.
Daniel Campos, who represents Almiron, claimed on Paraguayan radio station Futgol 970 that were it not for the global pandemic, he would no longer be in the north east.


'If it wasn't for the pandemic, he would've been elsewhere,' Campos explained.
'Perhaps he would like to play on a team that has a lot of possession.
