Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven has been mocked on social media after his two slips in quick succession led to Newcastle goals.
The Dutchman has earned praise during an impressive debut season at Tottenham but endured a nightmare first half at St James' Park.
Van de Ven was caught out for Newcastle's opening goal, slipping after being turned by Alexander Isak with the Swedish striker firing the hosts in front in the 30th minute.
Newcastle doubled their advantage two minutes later in similar fashion with Van de Ven again falling to the turf with Anthony Gordon blasting in a second to secure a 2-0 half-time lead.
