Roger Speed joined Jim White on talkSPORT on Monday ahead of the five-year anniversary of his son Gary's tragic death.

Former Wales star Gary was just 42 when he took his own life at his home in Chester on November 27, 2011.

Two of his old clubs, Leeds and Newcastle, joined together on Saturday to pay tribute to Gary during their Championship meeting at Elland Road.

Every player wore a shirt in the warm-up emblazoned with the number 11, the shirt number worn by Speed throughout his career, while both sets of supporters conducted a minute’s applause in the 11th minute of the match and chanted his name throughout.
