Rafa Benitez could find the solution to his Newcastle United goalkeeper search by bringing Porto's Iker Casillas to the Premier League next month.
Casillas, a veteran of three Champions League wins and five La Liga titles with Real Madrid, is out of the first team at Porto and could prove a good fit for the Magpies.
A report in Portugal's Jornal de Noticias suggested the 36-year-old keeper is 'in Newcastle's plans', although it is understood they would not be willing to match Casillas' £95,000-per-week Porto wage packet.

Casillas is still a big earner from the contract he moved to Portugal on when leaving cash-rich boyhood club Real two years ago.
