Kenny Dalglish backed the appointment of Ian Cathro as Hearts boss.
At 30, Cathro is the youngest top-flight boss in Scottish football history, but Liverpool legend Dalglish said that should be no obstacle to success.
He said: ‘I don’t know Ian Cathro but Craig Levein obviously knows him and has been so impressed by him that he’s offered him the Hearts job. And good luck to him.
‘I took over as Liverpool player-manager at the age of 34.
