Newcastle legend Alan Shearer has been the target of an extraordinary outburst by his former agent on the ninth anniversary of his ex-team-mate Gary Speed's death.
Melissa Chappell, who worked with Shearer for over a decade before an acrimonious split last year, took to Twitter to accuse her former client of only thinking about himself and his work on 'the anniversary of the worst day of my life'.
Former Leeds and Everton midfielder Speed was a client of talent agent Chappell when he committed suicide on November 27, 2011 - exactly nine years ago.
