Fulham chairman Shahid Khan has sent a heartfelt message to recently retired midfielder Scott Parker, thanking him for all his hard work for the club and branding him an inspiration.
Parker officially announced he would be hanging up his boots this week at the age of 36 following an incredible 20 years in professional football.
The former England international has turned out for a host of clubs in his time, beginning his career with Charlton Athletic before moving on to the likes of Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham and Fulham.

Bringing his time in football to a close with Fulham, the midfielder has been receiving an outpour of complements from his team-mates and coaching staff, both past and present.
