Former Newcastle United and England star Alan Shearer hilariously revealed he once nearly threw away Diego Simeone's shirt from the infamous clash with Argentina in 1998.
The match was famously remembered for David Beckham being sent off early on in the second half when the score was 2-2. Coincidentally, Shearer scored England's first goal in the round of 16 clash with the South American side.
In typical England fashion, they would go on to lose on penalties, with many blaming Beckham for the defeat.
However, many fans may not know that Shearer actually got Simeone's shirt from the game and opted to keep it.
