Newcastle sporting director Paul Mitchell is set to leave the club.
The 43-year-old only joined the Magpies last summer and will leave without having made a major first-team signing.
The club issued a statement to announce the news, which also confirmed that CEO Darren Eales would be leaving for health reasons.
'Paul Mitchell, Newcastle's sporting director, will leave the club by mutual consent at the end of June 2025,' the statement read.
'Paul joined the club in July 2024, reuniting him with Magpies CEO Darren Eales, who had previously recruited Paul to Tottenham Hotspur in 2014.
