Newcastle United have announced the signing of Tottenham defender DeAndre Yedlin for an undisclosed fee.
The USA international has put pen to paper on a five-year deal with the Championship club, and arrives at St James' Park hours after the departure of fellow right-back Daryl Janmaat to Watford.
Yedlin, 23, links up with the Magpies having struggled to break into the Tottenham first-team, playing just one game for the Lilywhites following his move from MLS side Seattle Sounders in August 2014.
He spent last season on loan with Newcastle's local rivals Sunderland, registering two assists in 25 games as the youngster helped Sam Allardyce's men secure Premier League survival at the Magpies' expense.
