Former Tottenham and Newcastle legend David Ginola says he was left clinically dead for eight minutes after suffering a heart attack at a charity match earlier this year.
Ginola, 49, collapsed during the match in May, swallowed his tongue and had stopped breathing before he was revived by paramedics, who had arrived with a defibrillator.
The Frenchman, who also enjoyed spells with Aston Villa and Everton during his playing career, underwent quadruple bypass surgery as surgeons battled to save his life.

Ginola says his team-mates originally thought he was joking at the charity match before realising the seriousness of the situation.
