Ian Ladyman has jested that Dan Burn cannot be picked as a left back for England because he is too tall.
The Newcastle defender has enjoyed a superb start to the season, playing every minute of the Magpies' Premier League and Champions League matches.
Burn was perhaps unfortunate not to be picked by Gareth Southgate in his squad for the internationals against Australia and Italy over the coming days, especially given the injuries to Ben Chilwell and Luke Shaw.
