Coventry City have signed Newcastle full-back Jamie Sterry on loan until 3 January 2017.
The 20-year-old made his first start for the Magpies in their 2-0 EFL Cup win over Cheltenham Town last week.
Sterry has recently agreed a new four-year contract at Newcastle.
"He is only 20, but is a young talent with plenty of promise and will provide healthy competition in the wing-back position for us," Coventry manager Tony Mowbray told the club website.
