Cardiff City could offer Yasin Ben El-Mhanni an escape route from Newcastle United amid the ongoing racism controversy surrounding Peter Beardsley.
Sportsmail understands El-Mhanni and his agent Godfrey K Torto met with Cardiff manager Neil Warnock and club officials last week to discuss a potential move to the Championship side.
It comes after El-Mhanni complained about alleged bullying and racist discrimination by Newcastle under-23 coach Beardsley, who was subsequently suspended pending the outcome of an investigation.
El-Mhanni isn't satisfied that some of the complaints he brought against Beardsley were upheld while others were not, despite witness statements from several team-mates supporting his claims.
