Burnley will turn to Chris Wilder if Sean Dyche decides to leave Turf Moor with Clarets concerned they will lose their manager this summer, as Crystal Palace and Newcastle wait in the wings

Chris Wilder is a contender to replace Sean Dyche at Burnley, with the Clarets concerned about losing their manager to a Premier League rival this summer.

Former Sheffield United boss Wilder, 53, is expected to become one of the hottest properties of the close season, with a host of clubs in England’s top two divisions interested.

Burnley hope Dyche will stay but his excellent work in establishing them as a Premier League club has attracted plenty of interest, including from Crystal Palace.
