Sean Dyche has admitted he needs to be careful what he wishes for, but firmly believes the methods he has used at Burnley will work elsewhere.
Dyche, who will mark five years in charge at Turf Moor against Newcastle United on Monday, has been strongly linked with the vacant Everton position.
And while he failed to rule anything in or out, he admitted: 'I want to progress. But be careful of what you wish for.'
Dyche, 46, who has denied any contact with Everton, insists his methods would work beyond Burnley.
