Aleksander Mitrovic has reaffirmed his desire to fire Newcastle United back into the Premier League, ruling out a January transfer away.
Napoli have been linked with an £18million move for the Serbia striker during the winter window but Mitrovic insists he will see out the season at least on Tyneside.
Mitrovic has scored five goals in 10 games for Newcastle this season to help Rafa Benitez’s side to the top of the Championship, and has found the net three times for his country in their World Cup qualifying campaign to prompt speculation top-flight teams in Europe might launch a bid.
