Aleksandar Mitrovic has confirmed his desire to leave Newcastle after growing frustrated over his lack of playing time this season.
Mitrovic has struggled to break into Newcastle's team this campaign with Rafa Benitez choosing to overlook the striker in favour of Dwight Gayle and Joselu.
And Mitrovic has given a frank interview with Zurnal, in which he announced his intentions to leave Newcastle for more first-team opportunities.
'I have persistently waited for the chance over the past months and I do not welcome it,' Mitrovic told the Serbian outlet.
