Alan Shearer revealed he had a pop at his soon-to-be rugby star son-in-law after he nearly missed a family outing at the London Marathon.

Over 50,000 runners lined up for the iconic race in the capital on Sunday morning, from fancy-dressers to celebrities, and thousands more cheered them on from the sidelines - mainly friends and family.

But one runner was almost a supporter short when Micky Young of Newcastle Falcons got on a train in the completely wrong direction when attempting to travel south to watch his future brother-in-law run.
