Alan Shearer has branded Alexander Isak 'nonsensical' for his statement on Tuesday night - and called for him to sack his agent due to the 'f****** mess' he is in.
The Magpies legend believes Isak was naive to think Newcastle would have any desire to let him go if no guarantees were given in his contract.
Isak is refusing to train with his team-mates as he tries to force through a move to Liverpool and on Tuesday claimed the club had 'broken promises' to him.
Newcastle are standing firm by their stance of holding on to him - definitely not until they sign a striker or two - and rejected a £110million bid by Liverpool earlier this month.
