Ajax have agreed the season long loan deal of Tim Krul from Newcastle United, as revealed by Sportsmail on Sunday.
The 28-year-old will sign a one year contract extension with Newcastle before joining the Amsterdam club and replacing Jasper Cillessen who is bound for Barcelona following Ajax's Champions League qualifier with Rostov tonight.
Cillessen replaces Claudio Bravo who joins Manchester City this week.
Krul is training again after a knee injury and should be fit for the start of September.
