The Holiday Season is supposed to bring out the best in people. On Wednesday, it brought out the worst in someone. Earlier in the day, rumors began circulating on social media that New York Yankees legend and fan favorite color commentator, Paul O'Neill, was diagnosed with cancer. The Yankees, via the YES Network, swiftly came out to disprove the rumor.
Since 2002, O'Neill has been delighting fans in the booth with his insightful analysis, sharp sense of humor, and stories of hard-fought battles of the past. For many younger fans, their only exposure to O'Neill has been through his work as an analyst.
