Yankees’ Zach Britton now has different name

The Yankees bullpen just racked up another K.

The reliever formerly known as Zach Britton announced Thursday he will now go by Zack Britton, his legal name.

Britton said in a tweet that Zach was his “stage name.”

“Breaking News: I will be going by my legal name “Zack” instead of my stage name “Zach”….. everyone continue to breath normally… #beenlivingalie #birthcertfail,” Britton tweeted.

The lefty re-signed with the Yankees on a three-year, $39 million deal in January to fortify a strong bullpen. He originally came to The Bronx last summer in a trade from the Orioles.
