BOSTON -- Yankee Stadium will be hosting at least one more baseball game this year.
Thanks to a 11-6 rout over the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park on Friday night, the New York Yankees earned a win that solidified home-field advantage in next Wednesday's American League wild-card game against the Oakland Athletics.
Whichever team wins that game will advance to the American League Division Series, where it will face the Red Sox. Game 1 of the ALDS will be at Fenway next Friday.
