Yankees-Red Sox weather forecast: Will rain from Hurricane Florence delay Tuesday's game?

The Yankees open a three-game series with the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday at Yankee Stadium. The game is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. (an early start for the Jewish high holy day of Yom Kippur which begins at sundown). But mother nature might have something to say about that, with the remnants of Hurricane Florence passing through the area.

Here is the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Today: Showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rainfall. High near 83. South wind 7 to 9 mph becoming west in the afternoon.
