TORONTO — Imagine spending every day — day after day — trying only to explain the sunrise. The monotony. The repetition.

At some point, you would just run out of words to describe the same daily occurrence.

And that is something beautiful … the sunrise.

Now try finding the words — day after day — for the Yankees’ offense. Monotonous. Repetitious. Offensive in every way except, you know, actually providing offense.
