Those that suggest this must be unaware that the Yankees already have a logjam at the hot corner. Would Nolan be an upgrade, yes, of course, he is one of the best players in the game. The question is, do we need him, and is it worthwhile and responsible to add a $35MM a year player that would skyrocket the Yankee payroll far beyond the highest luxury tax threshold?
