Yankees Injury Update: Didi Gregorius cleared, Aaron Hicks on the mend

On Wednesday afternoon, Yankees manager Aaron Boone called into The Michael Kay Show. Given the recent injury outbreak that has befallen the team, Boone had no shortage of updates to provide. And, for the most part, he delivered good news!

The Yankees clinched a postseason berth last Saturday with a walk-off win over the Orioles. The Bombers lost their starting shortstop in the process, however, as Gregorius tore some cartilage in his right wrist on the scoring play. Didi insisted the injury wouldn’t end his season, and today’s reports appear to back this up.
