Yankees hopeful Austin Romine is OK after taking foul to head

The Yankees have had their share of injuries and were walking on eggshells with fingers crossed after catcher Austin Romine was hit by a foul ball that knocked off his face mask. The initial response was optimistic.

“Ro’s good. Obviously, anytime you see what he went through [you worry],” said manager Aaron Boone, after the Yankees completed an 11-6 beatdown of the Blue Jays. “The testing in the field and it was deemed he was OK.
