It may have been two games that don’t count, but the Yankees certainly looked very strong after taking care of their crosstown rivals. The Yankees dominated the Mets from the first inning on tonight, collecting tape-measure shots while their opponents struggled just to get baserunners. Even though they were granted a bottom of the ninth to get more looks, that was just a bonus as they secured a 6-0 victory well in advance.
