The Yankees farm system isn’t as highly acclaimed as it was a couple of years ago, but it’s starting to trend upward again. 16-year-old outfielder Jasson Domiguez headlines the Baby Bombers featured in the top 100, coming in at #54. He’s followed by right-handers Clarke Schmidt at #88 and Deivi Garcia at #92.
After signing a record-breaking $5.1M deal with the Yankees last July Dominguez is quickly skyrocketing up all the pre-season prospect rankings and he hasn’t even played in his first professional game yet. Expectations are extremely high for the youngster from the Dominican Republic as he’s already earned comparisons to superstars like Mike Trout and Mickey Mantle.
