Brian Cashman had a busy afternoon. After touching base with members of the New York media, he called in to the The Michael Kay Show. Cashman discussed a number of topics, and did so in his usual candid way. Among the issues he touched upon were Sonny Gray and his struggles, Justus Sheffield, and the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline.
A few points stand out as particularly interesting. First, it sure sounds as if Gray is not long for pinstripes. “We just haven’t been able to get out of him what he’s capable of,” Cashman explained.
