Despite what Brian Cashman says publicly, the seat on which manager Aaron Boone sits was getting hotter and hotter with each passing day.
Things have cooled off a bit, but it's only a matter of time before that topic of conversation dominates the headlines once again.
From questionable bullpen decisions to baserunning blunders to fielding gaffes, Boone has either been the root cause of so many avoidable Yankees issues or at least has served as the enabler.
