Yankees fan faints, briefly delays game

A fan in the front row of Friday night’s Yankees-Blue Jays game at The Stadium fainted and was removed from his seat before the sixth inning, causing a brief delay in the action. He was seated just beyond the visiting dugout down the third-base line.

Attendants put the man in a wheelchair and led him to the first aid center in the concourse behind the seats. After remaining in the room for several minutes, the man was carried out in a stretcher wrapped in a white sheet with an oxygen mask over his mouth. He moved his head and shoulders slightly as he was wheeled through the concourse and down an exit.
