The New York Yankees are well known for their limitations on facial hair, however one style is allowed, mustaches. The Yankees are red hot in the last couple of weeks and have decided to grow them out in a very serious campaign. Teams for years have had rally caps, beards, certain uniform adjustments, but most of those things aren’t allowed by the Yankees organization. So with mustaches allowed, the 2015 Yankees took it and ran.
This mustache mayhem was created by Brett Gardner, who started it during the Yankees three game series against the Tampa Bay Rays.
