Yankees designate Ronald Torreyes for assignment

On Monday afternoon, the New York Yankees claimed RHP Parker Bridwell off waivers from the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. As a corresponding move, the Yankees designated utility-man Ronald Torreyes for assignment.
