The biggest news coming out of this game was the information that Greg Bird was a late scratch due to a sore right foot. We’re still waiting to hear the results of his MRI and CT scan, but hopefully everything is okay. Without Bird, the Yankees moved Tyler Austin to first base, and Ryan McBroom took over as DH.
