Yankees 2016-2017 offseason moves

The offseason isn’t quite over, but the Yankees’ roster seems to be just about set. It can be difficult to keep track of everything happening, so here is a recap of every transaction the Yankees have made since the 2016 season ended.

October 5, 2016: Right-handed pitcher Anthony Swarzak elected free agency. He has since signed with the Chicago White Sox. Additionally, the Angels claimed pitchers Kirby Yates and Blake Parker off waivers.

October 6, 2016: Outfielder Eric Young Jr. declined outright assignment to Triple-A and elected free agency.
