Yankees 13, Orioles 5: All rise, thumbs down

The Yankees are a home run team, in a home run stadium, facing a team that allows nearly 1.5 home runs per nine. The Yankees obliged, clobbering four home runs, three of them three-run blasts. Masahiro Tanaka wasn’t perfect but was still incredibly good, and the offense was absolutely clicking as they start their home stand. This team has now won 10 of their last 14, which is exactly the pace they need to continue if they want to win the division.

Wade Miley is usually lackluster, but tonight that was an understatement.
