Brett Gardner's ninth at-bat impressed everyone--even a former Yankees rival.
During FOX Sports' postgame show, David Ortiz made it a point to gush about Gardner's at-bat that wore down Cody Allen and provided the Yankees insurance runs to seal the deal in Game 5.
"That at-bat was one of the best I've seen in a long time," Ortiz said on the Fox Sports panel that included Alex Rodriguez, Frank Thomas, Keith Hernandez and host Kevin Burkhardt.
"He is one of the most incredible, hard-playing, awesome players to watch," Ortiz said.
