Yankees sluggers Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton understood why about 1,500 fans crowded the George M. Steinbrenner Field lower level Monday afternoon. They expected from the pair a fireworks show. They wanted booms and they wanted to oooh and ahhh as baseballs assaulted Dale Mabry Highway.
What they saw instead was, well, exactly what was advertised: batting practice.
"I know they're here for the entertainment," Stanton said after the team's first full squad practice. "But we've got our work in, too.
