Wednesday marks 5-year anniversary of Derek Jeter’s last at-bat at Yankee Stadium

On Sept. 25, 2014, Derek Jeter had one final send-off at home for the New York Yankees organization and their fans.

With one out in the bottom of the ninth in Jeter’s last game at Yankee Stadium, the future Hall of Famer hit a ball through the gap on the right side of the infield. It brought outfielder Antoan Richardson in to score from second base, as the Yankees won the game over the Baltimore Orioles 6-5.

5 years ago today, Derek Jeter walked it off in his final game at Yankee Stadium.
