WATCH: Yankees legend Andy Pettitte throws at Yankee Stadium

NEW YORK -- Don't call it a comeback.

Because it isn't one.

Yes, Yankees legend Andy Petttitte threw batting practice before his old team faced the Rays at Yankee Stadium on Friday.

But that's all it was. Pettitte, who also turned 46 years old Friday, was in the city for Sunday's Old-Timer's Day -- his first.

Pettitte was a Yankees' Core Four member. Pettitte, Derek Jeter, Jorge Posada and Mariano Rivera each were with the Yankees for their World Series wins in 1996, 1998, 1998, 2000 and 2009.
