NEW YORK — Two weeks ago we learned that former Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter recently sat down with President Barack Obama, but details were scarce. They still are.
But a longer clip of the meeting between the pair was released Monday on Jeter's website, The Players' Tribune, and in the 38-second clip Obama makes fun of the former New York captain for his advancing age, at least in baseball terms.
"Well, for a baseball player you were old, let's face it" Obama said. "We saw you trying to run around those bases.
