Watch Domingo German dominate in first outing with Dominican Winter League team

Check out Yankees starter Domingo German in his first action since 2019.

While Domingo German isn’t exactly a name New York Yankees fans love to mention these days, it’s nice to see the right-hander seemingly on the mend and making his version of a mini-comeback.

After being suspended for 81 games under Major League Baseball’s domestic violence policy back in January (the ban was retroactive to the end of 2019 when the Yankees placed him on leave), German missed all of 2020 because it was a shortened season and he was ineligible to participate in the playoffs (though even if he was eligible, he probably wouldn’t have been used).
